Some of you may have noticed that our picture framing software was running slow or not working for a few hours yesterday. This wasn’t just us—Amazon Web Services (AWS), which powers a big part of the internet in the U.S., had a nationwide outage that affected a lot of companies.
The good news is everything is back up and running now. And on our side, we’re not just moving on—we’re taking action. We’re setting up overseas backups so that if U.S. servers ever go down again, our POS system for frame shops will stay online. It may run a little slower on backup servers, but at least it will keep working. That way, you can keep running your business without missing a beat.
