Start by logging into your Square account on your computer.
Then log into Framing POS in the same browser.
Go to Settings at the bottom left.
Click Integrations.
Scroll down and click Connect to Square.
Approve the connection when prompted.
When asked, select your location.
Make sure you choose the correct location that matches your terminal. This is very important. If the wrong location is selected, your terminal will not connect or receive payments.
Now go to your Square Terminal.
Make sure it is connected to WiFi.
Tap Sign in and choose Device Code.
Framing POS will give you a device code.
Enter that code on the terminal.
Do this right away. The code expires in a few minutes. If it expires, you will need to generate a new one.
Once connected, your terminal is ready.
How to take a payment
Open an invoice in Framing POS.
Enter the amount.
Select Square Terminal as the payment method.
Send the payment to the terminal.
The terminal will prompt your customer to pay.
After the payment is completed, it will automatically record in Framing POS.
