John “Harry” Gaston, MCPF, is the proud owner of Gastonart & Frame, Inc., with three thriving retail locations across Massachusetts. His journey in the framing industry began in 1987 at a family-owned frame shop, where he developed a passion for craftsmanship and customer service. Over the years, John expanded his expertise, working as a sales representative for a regional wholesale distributor and later as an operations manager for a national picture framing chain.

In 2004, John founded Gastonart & Frame, which has since flourished into a successful business with a talented team of 15 employees. A dedicated and active member of the picture framing community, John has shared his knowledge as an instructor and private consultant. He’s also played a pivotal role in organizing industry events, co-founding and coordinating NEPPFA’s renowned FrameCon gatherings.

Beyond his professional contributions, John is a cohost of the popular picture framing podcast, “4 Sticks of Wood,” where he shares insights and experiences with fellow framers. With decades of expertise and a deep commitment to the craft, John continues to inspire and elevate the art of picture framing.
